Orange is the New Black by Piper Kerman

I Love the series on Netflix and I wanted to read the real book to see how much was real. It turns out it was nothing like the series and I was surprised on how happy that made me. It was like two awesome stories from the same experience. I could not put it down so after 2 days it was read. I love it I have a friend in prison right now that I think will love it. You have to read this!

It does seem she comes across more spoiled in the book then the film. Also in the film they never break up and the "Alex" character was not mentioned being around at the end of the book and there was no sexual thing going on between them. As I said it is a lot different then the Netflix series! For sure though make sure you watch and read this book. They are working on season 2 as I write this!
